2020 Scholarship Opportunities

The Nebraska Angus Association and the Nebraska Angus Auxiliary are excited to announce scholarship opportunities available to graduating seniors and current undergraduate students who are members or have been members of the Nebraska Junior Angus Association. 

The first scholarship is the National Angus Auxiliary Scholarship. This scholarship is available to Junior Angus members graduating high school. Each state is entitled to submit one girl and one boy application for the national scholarships. Scholarship form, requirements and additional information is available online on the American Angus Association website at this link:  


This scholarship application must be postmarked to our Nebraska Auxiliary scholarship selection committee chair Heather Smith by April 15, 2020. Winners will be notified before sending applications on to the National Auxiliary competition. They will be given the opportunity to work with our scholarship committee to enhance their applications. 

The next scholarship funds available is the Nebraska Angus Association state scholarships. The Nebraska Angus Association offers $1000 annually to the state scholarship. Applicant must be a Nebraska resident, current member of the Nebraska Junior Angus Association and current Junior member of the American Angus Association or, if over 21, a former member of both organizations.  Applicant may be a graduating high school senior or undergraduate who will be enrolling in a 2 or 4 year post high school educational program in the coming year.  Applicant’s parents must be members of the Nebraska Angus Association.
